Security and Regulations

Seeing how NYC is one of the states where having a firearm on you is  illegal, the law enforcements are the only ones we can rely on to keep us safe. So the responsibility is much higher. With the technological advancements we have, a lot can be done to ensure our peaceful day to day lives. For starters, an upgrade to the cctvs (closed-circuit televisions or as we know them as video surveillance) systems can highly improve the security of nearby areas. An example of that can be adding more omnidirectional cameras (also known as 360 degree cameras) around areas throughout the city.  If appropriate measures aren’t taken, more and more innocent individuals will be affected. With the data acquired and displayed/visualized , actions can be taken to reduce crime rate in NYC.
